Martin Whitfield MSP is encouraging any constituents worried about energy bills, debt or the cost of living this winter to seek advice and support from the Citizens Advice network via its Worried this Winter? Let’s Chat campaign.
Running in partnership with Home Energy Scotland until 28 February, the campaign is encouraging people to seek free and impartial advice on managing heating costs, energy debt and other financial pressures.
The Citizens Advice network in Scotland offers a range of free, impartial and confidential advice. This includes face-to-face appointments in local CABs, online information and advice, and through its Help to Claim advisers who are available by webchat or telephone (0800 023 2581, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm).
Any concerned residents can also call Home Energy Scotland on 0808 808 2282 for help and advice with their home energy costs this winter.
