Place2Be’s annual Children’s Mental Health Week (3-9 February) gets underway today and Martin Whitfield MSP is helping promote the week and its resources in his South Scotland region.

This year’s theme “Know Yourself, Grow Yourself” helps young people to understand their emotions and build resilience and Place2Be has created free resources for schools and families to get involved in the week.

Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“I am pleased to support Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week again. This year’s theme “Know Yourself, Grow Yourself” invites us to consider our emotions and develop self-awareness.

“A great range of free resources are available for schools and families and I’m urging anyone who wants to participate in the week to access them now.”
