Martin Whitfield MSP said:
“Anaerobic digestion has an important part to play in helping to decarbonise the agricultural sector and make our economy more sustainable by turning organic waste materials into renewable energy. I welcomed the opportunity to visit this brand-new facility to find out more about how it operates and am grateful to Marc and his colleagues for their time.”
Douglas Alexander MP said:
“I was pleased to visit Bangley Quarry Biogas to meet Marc and his team and discuss the plant’s contribution to the circular economy. As it becomes fully operational, the facility will be providing renewable gas, biofertiliser and liquefied bio-CO2 to local residents, farmers and industry. This is good news for East Lothian, the farming community, and the local economy.”
