Martin Whitfield MSP is helping promote this year’s #CFWeek (June 13-19), which is dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of cystic fibrosis.

Organised by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the only UK-wide charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by the condition, the theme for this year’s #CFWeek is ‘A life without limits’.

Throughout the week the charity will be celebrating the amazing CF community by sharing stories of how, despite everything that’s thrown their way, those juggling the ups and downs of CF do so with courage and resilience.

Speaking about his support for the week, Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“I believe everyone living with Cystic Fibrosis should be able to live a life unlimited. That’s why this Cystic Fibrosis Week I’m supporting the great work the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is doing to help #LiftTheLimits of CF.

“This means a life without the constant worry about meds and hospital appointments. Without the financial burden CF can bring. Without daily pain and exhaustion. A life without lack of awareness and misconceptions. A life without limits.”

As part of the week’s activities, on Friday 17 June, the CF Trust is inviting the public  to join them as they unite for Wear Yellow Day, the charity’s biggest and brightest fundraising day of the year.
