Asthma + Lung UK Scotland is urging people living with a lung condition to complete their Life with a Lung Condition Survey and help shape the charity’s campaigning and policy work.

With the extreme pressures on the health service & emergency care, due to a rise in flu, covid and respiratory viruses, the charity is keen to get a better understanding of people’s lung health in South Scotland and Martin Whitfield MSP is helping to promote awareness of the survey.

Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“Sadly, 43% of respiratory deaths each year occur during the Winter period. Asthma + Lung UK Scotland would like to hear from you to better inform the fight to support and resource our healthcare and emergency services as they combat unprecedented levels of pressure, including flu, covid and respiratory viruses.

“The charity want to hear directly about what life is like with a lung condition – what your symptoms are, what care you get for it, and how you live with it. So, if you are living with a lung condition and can spare five minutes, please complete the Life with a Lung Condition survey now.”
