The 2023 Scottish College Awards, delivered by CDN, are now open for entries and Martin Whitfield MSP is encouraging colleges in his region and across Scotland to participate.

The Awards recognise the talent, skills and achievements of colleges, their staff and their learners, providing a valuable opportunity to celebrate the innovation taking place in colleges across the country.

This year the new Research Project of the Year Award has been added to the categories available to enter. This recognises the variety of research work taking place in colleges that leads to the enhancement of college provision, the student experience or partnership working.

Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“The CDN College Awards offer a high profile opportunity for Scotland’s excellent colleges to showcase the impact the sector is having – every day – for learners, communities, and the wider economy.

“The award categories cover the full breadth of activity taking place in the college sector and help celebrate those working in it. I hope that colleges in my region and across the country will join in and enter the awards this year.”

The deadline for entries is Friday 30 June 2023, and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 30 November at Radisson Blu, Glasgow.
