Smart Energy GB is encouraging households to explore how a smart meter’s in-home display can help track and manage energy use.
New research has shown that 89% of adults with a smart meter find their in-home display useful. Also, 38% used it more this winter than last to monitor their gas and electricity use much more closely. This shows that during these difficult times, an upgrade to a smart meter can be more useful than ever.
Smart Energy GB is the national consumer engagement body supporting the smart meter rollout. Smart meters are the next generation of gas and electricity meters being rolled out to consumers across Great Britain. They come with a handy in-home display so you can see how much energy you are using.

“A smart meter and the in-home display could help consumers track and manage their energy use. Hopefully, this will help them save on their bills in the long run.
