Martin Whitfield MSP has visited PoppyScotland’s exhibition stand at Holyrood to catch up on its latest work and activity, including the recent launch of its new plastic-free poppy ahead of this year’s Scottish Poppy Appeal.

Mr Whitfield chatted to some of the charity’s reps about the various support and services it provides to members of the Armed Forces and Veterans, including the Employment Grants service and ‘Advance to Work’ residential course.

Speaking afterwards, Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“It’s always a pleasure to welcome Poppy Scotland to Holyrood and support the excellent work it does for our communities. It was great to have an update about their amazing work supporting the members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and their families, as well as hearing more about their new plastic-free poppies.”
