Martin Whitfield MSP has visited North Berwick-based charity Leuchie House for an update on some of its latest developments and future plans.

The South Scotland MSP met with the charity’s CEO Mark Bevan for a tour of the building and its facilities. This included finding out more about the use of new technology in guests’ rooms and chatting with some of the current guests.

Mr Bevan also updated Mr Whitfield on some of the charity’s wider developments since his last visit, and its plans for the future of the unique facility.

Speaking afterwards, Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“I’m grateful to Mark and his team at Leuchie taking time out to update me on some of their latest developments and exciting plans for the future.
“Leuchie is a fantastic asset for East Lothian and for people living with MS and other neurological conditions across the UK and I will always do everything I can to support it.”
