Martin Whitfield MSP has welcomed the return of the #LoveScotlandsColleges campaign, which aims to celebrate the outstanding innovation, hard work and best practice that takes place across the college sector every day.

Organised by the CDN Marketing and Communications Network, the collaborative campaign launches on Monday 12 February 2024. The week-long digital campaign will highlight the importance and strength of Scotland’s colleges, promoting examples, both national and local, of how they support students, the economy, businesses, communities and staff.

The campaign encourages all college staff, politicians, businesses, local communities and stakeholders to get involved with the campaign on social media by using #LoveScotlandsColleges. A marketing toolkit on CDN’s website also helps stakeholders prepare for and promote the week.

Last year’s campaign achieved over 6 million impressions over the 5 day period – an increase of 27.5% on the previous campaign!

Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“Scotland’s college sector is critical to so many aspects of our lives and society. They support people to enhance their skills and qualifications, work collaboratively with employers and boost local economies and communities.

“The #LoveScotlandsColleges campaign puts this significant contribution in the spotlight and helps to communicate the huge difference colleges make in Scotland.

“I’m encouraging everyone with an interest in the college sector in South Scotland to get involved in the week and show why they #LoveScotlandsColleges.”
