Martin Whitfield MSP today met with representatives from BBC Scotland at their exhibition stand at the Scottish Parliament.

The BBC exhibition, which ran from Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7 March, aimed to showcase the range of learning resources provided by BBC Scotland Learning and provided an opportunity for MSPs to meet with producers and pupils who make and use the learning content.

Learn at BBC Scotland provides resources from Bitesize to Authors Live, from Young Reporter to The LAB, and the BBC offers support for parents, teachers and students at all ages and stages of their
learning.

Speaking afterwards, Martin Whitfield MSP said:

“It was great to chat with the team from BBC Scotland visiting parliament today.

“It was particularly exciting to hear more about the work they’re doing in terms of education, on things like BBC Bitesize and Authors Live – a tool I loved using when I was a teacher!”
