Martin Whitfield MSP and Douglas Alexander MP have visited Seton Sands Holiday Village for an update on some of its latest developments and future plans.
They met with General Manager Craig Stevenson who gave them a tour of the facility and introduced them to members of his staff team as well as some guests.
The park is the biggest provider of tourist/visitor bedrooms in East Lothian with capacity for almost 4,500 guests. It is also one of the county’s biggest private sector employers, with a team of up to 250 at peak times.
Speaking after the visit Martin Whitfield MSP said:
“It was a pleasure to visit Seton Sands Holiday Village with Douglas to meet Craig and some of his team and catch up on its latest developments.
“The park welcomes thousands of visitors to the county each year, making it a really significant part of the local tourism sector, and has also been an important part of so many local people’s lives over the years.”
Douglas Alexander MP said:
“I have met so many local people who have a connection to Seton Sands. For many it provided their first part-time or holiday job, while others have fond memories of family breaks there.
“During our visit, Craig gave us a tour of the park’s various facilities and activities, introduced us to some of its dedicated staff and gave us a flavour of how they seek to deliver a positive holiday experience for all their guests.”
Craig Stevenson, General Manager, Seton Sands Holiday Village said:
